This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
Who we are
This website (conquistamedia.com) and the Conquista Media brand are operated by David Eldred, doing business as Conquista Media, located at 1510 Stuart Rd NE #203, Cleveland, TN 37312. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to that business. "You" refers to the person using the Service.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you contact us, request a call, or become a client, we may collect information that can identify you, including:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number, if you choose to give one
- Mailing address, including city, state, and ZIP code
- Billing details you provide when you pay an invoice
Information collected automatically
When you use the Service, your browser or device may send certain information automatically ("Usage Data"). This can include your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on each page, and similar diagnostic data.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects our contact form, may store a short-lived token in your browser to confirm that a submission came from a person rather than an automated script. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to tell you when one is being sent. If you refuse them, the contact form may stop working.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Respond to your questions and provide client support
- Prepare proposals, manage your account, and issue invoices
- Send you updates you have asked for, which you can opt out of at any time
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or misuse
Service providers we use
We use a small number of third-party services to run this website. Each handles data under its own privacy policy.
Hosting
The website is hosted by Netlify, which processes standard request and server log data in order to serve the pages. Netlify's privacy policy is at netlify.com/privacy.
Form protection
Our contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a real browser. Cloudflare receives your IP address and limited browser signals as part of that check. Cloudflare's privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Email delivery
When you submit the contact form, the message is delivered to us through Postmark, and Postmark also sends you the confirmation reply. Postmark's privacy policy is at postmarkapp.com/privacy-policy.
Analytics and advertising
This website does not run analytics software, advertising pixels, or remarketing tags. We do not track you across other websites, and we do not build advertising profiles from your visit.
Payments
We do not take payments on this website. If you become a client, invoices are issued and paid through a third-party payment processor that handles your card details under its own privacy policy and security standards. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:
- With the service providers listed above, and only as needed to do that work
- To comply with the law, a court order, or a valid request from a government authority
- To protect our rights, property, or safety, or those of our clients or the public
- In connection with a sale or transfer of the business, in which case we will give notice before your information is transferred
Data retention
We keep your personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, including to provide the Service, meet our legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We keep Usage Data for a shorter period, except when it is used to improve security or the Service.
Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information. No method of transmitting or storing data over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to safeguard the information you share with us.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email us at info@conquistamedia.com and we will respond in good faith and within a reasonable time. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
You can opt out of our emails at any time by replying and asking, or by using the unsubscribe link in any message that carries one. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to it, so the Service does not currently change its behavior based on Do Not Track signals.
Links to other sites
The Service may contain links to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version here and update the effective date at the top. Changes take effect when they are posted, so please review this page periodically.
